Maharishi Yoga Asanas are practised easily, comfortably, and naturally, without strain, force or control, slowly, and with full attention. The practice is original, authentic, holistic, systematic and natural. It is practised for about 10-15 minutes twice daily before meditation.

This set of Asanas and Pranayama provides levels of preparation that sequentially progress
from more active to quieter, from grosser to subtler effects on mind-body integration. They are
the perfect preparation for Transcendental Meditation.

Maharishi Yoga Āsana Foundation Course

The Foundation Course in Maharishi Yoga Āsana is the enriching 16-lesson course, designed to introduce you to the foundational journey into Yoga.

The MYA 16-lesson course was designed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1992.

The programme offers:

  • A comprehensive understanding of the nature of Yoga
  • A basic, hands-on introduction to Maharishi Yoga Āsana postures and breathing techniques (Prāṇāyāma), perfect for beginners.
