Saturday, 20 September, from 10:30–12:00 and 14:00–16:30 CEST
Introduction to the history of AyurVeda Marma Therapy; basic principles including how to

Sunday, 21 September, from 10:30–12:00 and 14:00–16:30 CEST

Phase 2: in-residence course at MERU (2 days)​

Eligibility: completion of Phase 1
The practice of Transcendental Meditation is now required.

Course structure and what you will learn

Review of the Marma protocols of Phase 1 and personal guidance to ensure the correct practice on fellow course participants.

Daily schedule:

– Morning session 10:30 am–12:30 pm
– Afternoon session 2:00 pm–4:30 pm
– Evening Q&A session

Please note that the number of course participants for Phase 2 and 3 is limited to provide individual guidance for each participant. There is great interest in the MAV Marma training, so we recommend applying early.

Course structure and what you will learn

Review of all Marma protocols of Phase 2 and learning additional longer and complex treatment protocols to enhance the self-healing power and increase Ojas in your clients.
On this course you will learn some of the most successful and most appreciated Marma protocols, and you will gain confidence in applying them.

Daily schedule:

– Morning session 10:30 am–12:30 pm
– Afternoon session 2:00 pm–4:30 pm
– Evening Q&A session

After this course you will be able to give Marma treatments to family members and friends, or professionally to clients, provided local regulations allow (e.g. for nurses, physiotherapists, massage therapists, cosmeticians, etc.)

Dr Rainer Picha

Dr Rainer Picha is a cardiologist from Austria who served as an Assisting Director and Head of the Intensive Care Unit at the State Hospital of Graz/Austria. In 1996 Maharishi invited Dr Picha to come to Maharishi Vedic University in Vlodrop, The Netherlands. There he worked with Dr Nader and his team of scientists to support the work on Veda in the Human Physiology. Under Maharishi’s and Dr Nader’s guidance, Dr Picha developed the Model of Vedic Physiology, worked closely with Maharishi on new hospital designs and curricula, and integrated Maharishi AyurVeda with modern medicine. He is chairman of the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation (IMAVF) and director of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International (MCPHI)

Dr Walter Mölk

Dr Walter Mölk is a general practitioner and founder of the Austrian Society of Ayurvedic Medicine and the first Panchakarma centre in Austria. In 1996 Dr. Mölk has been invited by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and became a member of the international research team at Maharishi Vedic University in Vlodrop, the Netherlands where he had the opportunity to work closely with Maharishi and neuroscientist Tony Nader MD, PhD. Dr Mölk has over 35 years of experience in teaching Maharishi AyurVeda to health professionals worldwide. He is one of the directors of the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation and the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International and has organised together with Dr Schrott all the MAV Marma training courses at MERU.
