Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with health, prevention and treatment of diseases to ensure harmonious development and growth in childhood. Kaumarabhritya is divided in to three different age groups:
The mission of this department is to spread Maharishi Ayurveda, medicine based on Consciousness in the pediatric field, among healthcare professionals and general public, in order to promote its integration with modern pediatrics.
Health promotion in childhood is today considered fundamental to prevent various chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, etc.) in adulthood. Kaumarabhritya therefore represents one of the fundamental pillars for creating a disease-free society in accordance with the vision of Ayurveda Maharishi.
Dr. Lorenza Garghetti, also Italian. Dr. Garghetti graduated Summa Cum Laude at the Cancer Institute of Milan and continued her studies in pediatrics at the University of Milan Osp. S. Raffaele, where she dealt with resuscitation and intensive care of neonatal pathologies. She has attended numerous training courses on Ayurvedic medicine around the world and, as a pediatrician, she has held the training for the “Mother-Baby Program” course in the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Furthermore, Dr. Garghetti has been involved in the training of doctors on Maharishi AyurVeda for many years. She is currently co-director of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International in the Netherlands. She is responsible for the MIU Master in Maharishi AyurVeda and Integrative Medicine in Italy, Director of the Department of Psychosomatics at UMLAC and Head of Maharishi AyurVeda in Italy.
Prof. Dott.ssa. Lorenza Garghetti
Prof. Dr. Bruno Renzi, from Italy. Prof. Renzi, graduated in medicine and surgery, and with a specialization in psychiatry, has held various positions at the Luigi Sacco University Hospital Center in Milan, and recently was the Coordinator of Stress Related Disorders and Professor a.c. of Psychiatric Rehabilitation at this center. Prof. Renzi has carried out studies and internships at various institutions around the world, such as the Cathexis Institute of Oakland (California), the Maharishi International University in Iowa and the Gujarat Ayurvedic University of Jamnagar (India), which have provided him with a unique to integrate modern and ancient traditional treatments of mental disorders.
Professor Renzi has lectured in many universities. He has appeared in numerous television programs and is the author of the following books: ANIMA. Conversazioni irreali. – ED. Anima – 2009. Prof. Bruno Renzi
Joan Roura trained in theoretical physics at the University of Barcelona in 1977, specializing in Quantum Field Theory and Einstein’s General Relativity. He holds a PhD in Science of Creative Intelligence from Maharishi European Research University (Switzerland) and in Political Science from MERU (The Netherlands), as well as a post-graduate degree in Maharishi Ayurveda.
He has worked in more than 25 countries implementing the practical aspects of the physics and consciousness discovery presented by Maharishi, especially its applications in the areas of conflict resolution, education and health.
He was a member of the Interministerial Commission for Planning and Coordination (in subcommittees) of the Brazilian government, as well as coordinator of working groups for the implementation of projects in the aforementioned areas in several countries. Thus, for example, he coordinated the project for the creation of peace in a country at war (Mozambique).
He has made presentations at national congresses, including the National Congress of Brazil, at TVE, universities and teaching centers, Ministries of Defense, Education, Health, and other organizations, as well as to high dignitaries in several countries.
He currently chairs the David Lynch Institute in Brazil.
