Over the years, students from many different backgrounds have joined the Professional Training in Ayurveda at Alma Mater Europaea. Some came to deepen their own understanding, others to integrate Ayurveda into an existing practice, and some to begin a new professional path.
Here are a few reflections from students and graduates — shared in their own words.
I noticed a very big benefit in my practice. my whole perspective in diagnosis has changed. Now I can tackle deeper root causes of every case study that I encounter in my clinic.
The course content was excellent. It was both theoretical and practical with a huge emphasis on the practical, which leaves us ready to go and work in the field as soon as we have our qualification.
The Postgraduate taught me to approach health from a different, more holistic perspective, while still valuing allopathic medicine. It has also given me a different view on cause of disease and treatment, which for me has been very valuable as I now approach health and disease from a different perspective, including many treatment modalities and lifestyle interventions.
I’ve never done a course that I enjoyed so much as this course that Gordana taught…..… the best course I have ever done … the keystone that made the course so powerful is that from the first week we were meeting patients, so it was such a practical application of the knowledge and that’s when the learning comes and Gordana is fantastic at interviews. I’ve never seen anyone interview patients like Gordana. So I’ve learned from the best it’s a great course. Thank you!
The course exceeded my expectations. I found the pulse diagnosis very useful. … We dealt with many people with a wide range of conditions, this gave me the confidence to know I can help anyone who comes through my door.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Gordana Marković who was the main lecturer and was with us practically all the time throughout the study. Her knowledge and deep understanding of Ayurveda is so great as is her ability to transfer it to us.
