Dr Schachinger has been actively practising Maharishi AyurVeda since 1985, trained in General and Functional Medicine. Since 2022, he has been the Medical Director of „Home of Ayurveda – somamed“, the new centre of Maharishi AyurVeda and holistic medicine in a quiet rural area in Austria. Somamed offers outpatient consultations, Maharishi Panchakarma, including thermal water application from the certified local healing water and modern medical checkups and treatment for all relevant markers of health and longevity.
