About the Course

The tiny wonders that exist everywhere in Nature – delicate flowers, leaves, pine needles, seeds, etc. – carry with them great healing power. Despite their small size, their ability to heal is so profound as to be able to eliminate suffering from life. Here is a wonderful opportunity for you as a graduate of the Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy Consultant Training Course Phase I to acquire the skills to give consultations to the general public.

Also fully fledged MAAT consultants, may wish to take this exciting, new Phase II as a refresher course and get the latest tools and knowledge to practice MAAT (see MAAT Updates below).

We will focus on sharpening our skills to select the best essential oils out of a variety of options available to us, and the best methods of use. We will also learn about the essential oils in the new VedAroma Kit for this course. This kit is part of a new selection of 25 essential oils – you will learn how to use them to address most health concerns.

Graduating Modalities

Every MAAT course gives us the opportunity to acquire more in-depth knowledge, whether you wish to give consultations or simply have the knowledge for yourself, your family and friends. With this in mind, we have developed different modes of certification for each course.

Daily exercises, case studies and tests will serve as teaching tools, as well as a way to assess your expertise as:

  1. Trainee level 2 – You will acquire more experience in the Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy method of choosing and applying pure, high quality, certified organic or wild harvested essential oils, and recommending them to family and friends as practice.
  2. Graduate Consultant level 2 – The more experienced you are in the Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy method, the better able you will become in recommending them to clients. This level of certification will enable you to work as a professional aroma therapist.

Note: The Vedaroma kit is mandatory for all course participants at this level of training.

The successful completion of this Phase II of the Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy Consultant Training Course to give consultations to the general public will depend on your results in the exercises, case studies and tests.

You will then have the opportunity to become an affiliate of the International Maharishi AyurVeda Foundation for Health Professionals. As an affiliate you will have many benefits which include constant feedback via an online Forum and webinars for continuing education.

This course is offered by the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International – Department of Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy.

Kit of Essential Oils and Other Course Materials

An integral part of the training of MAAT consultants is the experience of a wide range of essential oils. This allows consultants to both have the direct experience of their benefits and be able to recommend specific essential oils based on their own practical knowledge.

The Power of Essential Oils is a publication written by Dr Rosie Geelvink, who pioneered the groundbreaking knowledge of Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy and contains vital information about each essential oil and how to use them.

Therefore, all course participants are expected to order the kit containing selected essential oils, and the complete 136-page booklet The Power of Essential Oils if they don’t already have it. It is of vital importance to order the kit well ahead of time in order to allow for its timely arrival at the participant’s address. Assignments to be done with the kit are due every week after the start of the course.

To order the kit, please go to: https://vedaroma.com/eu/product/mat-ctc-kit-15/

If you don’t have it, we also recommend that you order the Illustrated Guide to Vedaroma Essential Oils at the same time as you order the kit described above. This way you will save on shipping (as compared to ordering them separately).

The Illustrated Guide to Vedaroma Essential Oils will be available online during the course and for three months after its conclusion, after that time it will not be available online anymore. You should also plan on printing the Handouts, which will also be available online during the course.

Joining the course

Technical requirements to join are that you have a desktop, laptop, or a mobile device that can access the internet. The live Q&A sessions will be conducted by Zoom video conferencing software. Instructions for using Zoom, and login details for joining the course, will be provided before the course.

Once the course begins, you will be able to catch up on sessions you may have missed or review any session you would like to see again on our online platform for three months after the course concludes. Assignments must be concluded two weeks after all the live sessions have taken place.

The online platform is where you will find the Maharishi lectures for the course.

VedAroma offers a 15% discount to all course participants on all essential oils, hydrolates, booklets, and diffusers for the duration of the course. All course participants who receive a certificate of completion of the Phase II training are eligible for a 30% discount on Vedaroma essential oils, diffusers and books. If you would like to become a Vedaroma distributor, the discount is 40%.

About Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy

The revival of the complete knowledge of Ayurvedic Aroma Therapy, a modality of Maharishi AyurVeda, brings us the ancient wisdom of one of the most natural systems of promoting holistic psychological and physical health and well-being.

The essential oil present in the flowers, fruits, leaves, branches, seeds, root or rind of the plant is the ‘essence,’ ‘life force,’ or ‘soul’ of the plant. This innate intelligence awakens the inner intelligence of our mind and body.
Aroma Therapy is the fastest growing of all complementary therapies. By drawing on its knowledge we can unveil and tap the secrets that the perfume and cosmetics industry has guarded so well!

Essential oils can be used to balance and normalize our mental, physical and emotional health through their Dosha effect; this way they enliven the body’s own self-healing mechanism and restore life, health, and wholeness in body, mind, and soul. This is done through the revival of the complete knowledge of Maharishi AyurVeda. No other method used in aroma therapy allows for such a perfectly individualized approach to produce as Maharishi said, “perfect health through the beautiful fragrance of flowers”.

The Department of Maharishi AyurVeda Aroma Therapy (MAAT) of the Maharishi College of Perfect Health International in Vlodrop invites all meditators, sidhas and governors to to learn about and enjoy this fascinating field of knowledge and take the three phases of MAAT training, starting at the beginning of each year, as follows:

MAAT Foundation Course

MAAT Consultant Training Course Phase I

MAAT Consultant Training Course Phase II

Updates on MAAT

This course will provide an opportunity to MAAT consultants to refresh the knowledge and acquire the most up-to-date information in this area. Many useful handouts have been incorporated since consultants were trained by Dr Rosie Geelvink, such as the Dosha effect of carrier oils, dilution tables (also for children), recommendations by Vaidya Vyas, new forms that make it easier to prepare for a consultation, etc. Therefore, many MAT consultants will find it useful to take this new Phase II of the consultant training course, which will provide new tools to all who have trained in this field.

The course will cover the whole range of Maharishi Aroma Therapy from the physical to the most subtle and spiritual levels. Being familiar with the finer values and mechanics of action of the essential oils will be more fulfilling for one’s own understanding and will help everyone to apply them in an easier way.

‘‘The ability to metabolise all sensory experience into the experience of bliss is the ability for prevention. All the five channels of perception — the five senses — must be so clear that all experiences through any of the five senses always inspire bliss.’’
